2013 Brings New Direction.

2013 is upon us and with that it has brought a new direction for the crew here at AussieWind for the time being. After playing in the show rings at the LKOC and BRCA dog show last fall, I have decided that the pups just need a little time to mature before going back into the rings. Lady did beautifully at the shows though and really enjoyed it so looking forward to eventually getting her back out into the ring to play.

However Agility is becoming the main focus for the year. Foxy and I started taking classes last November and she is progressing beautifully. She is quick to learn and really keen and absolutely loves it. Looking forward to start trialing her this summer in some games trials. Look for us in CKC, AAC, and NADAC trials in the future. I will also be starting Lady in agility this summer and am hoping to have her out trialing later in 2013 or early in 2014 depending on how fast she picks up on the equipment and courses. If shes quick like her sister she should be out later in 2013.  Both pups have a wonderful work ethic and willingness to learn and please that makes them a complete joy to work with, hyper handfuls though they may be.

I am looking forward to a fun filled 2013 and branching back into where my whirlwind adventure with canines started in the world of agility.

Update!

Well things have been busy here at AussieWind. I didn't realize it had been a year already since I had updated my blog, and for that I apologize I will try to update it more frequently in the coming future.

We are getting ready to try our hand at a few shows in the fall. Been a busy little bit but things are starting to settle down so we are hoping to get out into the show and obedience rings with some plans in the making for agility as well.

Just a quick update, not to much new here at AussieWind. Starting to get Lady and Foxy ready for their potential careers as show girls. Will be bringing them in alternating weeks to the apartment very soon.

Puppies in new homes

August has been a very busy month. Blue found her new home the beginning of August, with Keith and  Nelda, and has since be renamed Cleo. It sounds like she is doing well and is getting up to her typical Aussie trouble making, which includes playing in her water dish.

Little Panda has found her new home today, with Claudine and Willie. Looking forward to hearing how things go with her.

Foxy will be staying here at AussieWind but has been purchased by my parents. Looking forward to doing some great things with her.

And Lady will also being staying here at AussieWind. Also looking forward to doing big things with her in the next coming year.

All photos posted are courtesy of Cathy Bishop at Caitland Aussies.

Will hopefully have new photos to post soon along with another update.

Congratulations to everyone who purchased an AussieWind puppy on their newest editions and I look forward to hearing about them and how they are doing.

Puppy Adventure #1

Well the puppies had their first adventure off the farm today. We went to Provost to visit Cathy Bishop with Caitland Aussies. We loaded everyone up in a crate and headed out. They whined a little before settling down to sleep the entire drive. Everyone also got a bath and dry this morning.

Tomorrow everyone one gets their eyes checked and their first set of vaccines along with microchips. So going to be another busy day for the crew here.
Pups will also come with CKC registration papers and a 2 year health guarantee for genetic disease. Both parents passed their hips and elbows and are clear for hip and elbow dysplasia, and passed their CERF eye exams on an annual basis.

If interested please feel free to email me at cbelanger99@hotmail.com

Play time

Well things are going well here. Puppies are growing and eating well. As well as developing their own unique personalities and quirks.

They are also hanging out in the house my parents are building while they work on it. Saws, drills, hammers, shop vacs, air nailers and other noises and power tools are being used at  various different times and they puppies don't seem bothered. They look to see what it was and then either resume playing or resume napping (if they even wake up, they have been known to sleep through some of the noises). So they are getting plenty of exposure to different sounds and sights.

I still have 2 puppies available.  If you are interested or have any questions please feel free to email me at cbelanger99@hotmail.com

Puppies will have first set of vaccines, microchips, and eyes checked when they leave. CKC registration papers will be in the works when the leave and will be mailed out when they are completed. Puppies will be ready to go after August 13.

I am still taking deposits on this litter. All pups come with a 2 year health guarantee on genetic diseases, first vaccines, microchips, preliminary eye exams, and CKC registration papers. If you are interested please feel free to email me at cbelanger99@hotmail.com
